Introduction
Padel is the fastest growing sport in the world, with an enormous boom in Europe/US and middle east countries, the sport has found millions of new addicts around the world. Even though this racket sport is easy to pick up, players should start young and get good habits and form at a young age. The sport is planning to become an Olympic sport and to be honest it will certainly take over racket sports such as Squash or badminton in less than a decade.
Vietpadel Academy has designed a padel program that fits youngsters. With the help of professionals, passionate players and parents, we have created a well balanced padel program that fits the small ones. With fun games, active drills, we engage the kids in a playful environment that allows them to grow their confidence, potential. They will also be learning new techniques and skills. The biggest advantage of Padel is that the pitches (courts) and bats (rackets) are small and we play on artificial grass (to avoid injuries) which fit the kids perfectly.

The Students
At this age the player is still a kid but has grown and some has developed strength already, the power has improved and he is capable to swing the bat (racket) fast. We continue to develop speed at this age. The motor skill is becoming a little more accurate and precise and kids are capable of slow multiple tasks and can engage the lower and upper body at the same time, eye-hands-feet coordination still need to be developed to play a racket sport and most importantly the kids focusing skill and understanding skills are developed. Tactical awareness and mental toughness are taught more at that age.

Key Learning
For this age group at Vietpadel Academy we focus on 4 key learning:
- The mental: Players have a better overall understanding skill, focusing skill is there but need to be sharpened. Players still need to listen to the coaches and achieve simple tasks.
- The physical: For the under 10 groups, speed, coordination and agility are still the most important, but we are starting to develop endurance also, with the increase of the rallies and the matches, players need to have more stamina in order to play several matches in several tournaments.
- The technique: At this age with their patience improving, we will take more time to explain and fix simple and special techniques, it is at this age that the players are getting their forms and strokes fixed.
- The Tactical: At this age, kids start to understand the game better. Their focusing skill is developed. So we are able to talk about tactics and strategy of the game. Players will get used to the different types of game style, attacking game, defending game or all around game style.
